The collaboration
of Jack Sinclair and Alex Alspaugh
Trick Projects is the creative practice of Alex Alspaugh and Jack Sinclair. Trick, for short, specializes in design direction through a variety of services, including — but not limited to — branding, web design, graphic design, and photography.

Trick was founded in 2020 as Alex and Jack's senior thesis while studying design at the University of Washington. Interested in where design overlaps with other creative practices, they decided to create a platform to explore these intersections through collaborative projects.
Experimentation, lightheartedness, and honesty are at the heart of their work. Trick was started for them to try new things, so they welcome new ideas and mediums with open arms and curiosity. It is a learning process, and they are always figuring it out as they go — making sure not to take themselves too seriously. No matter the client, Trick aims to produce detail-oriented work that they can feel passionate about.
Trick is currently based in Seattle, and soon to be based in New York City. They are open for commissions and collaboration with artists, businesses, friends, and anyone in between.
